Neighbourhood Bike Exchange
May 11th, 2010 · No Comments
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to remind you that our neighbourhood bike exchange is this coming Saturday. If you know of a child in our neighbourhood that needs to trade-up to the next size of bike, have them bring their old bike and their parents to the Heart of the Hammer Cafe by Thursday to pick up their voucher for the exchange day.
If your kids and neighbours already have bikes, watch for more details coming about our bicycle safety day and parade.
Your neighbour,
Sarah Martin .

Perennial Exchange
April 27th, 2010 · No Comments
Perennial Exchange - Saturday, May 1st
With this year’s early Spring and plant growth we’ve decided to move the Perennial Exchange to this Saturday, May 1st.
What is a Perennial Exchange?·
It’s where you can bring perennials from your garden to give/trade/exchange with other people’s extra plants.
Where is the South Stipeley Perennial Exchange?
On Fairholt Road South between Vineland and King. Saturday May 1st from 1pm to 2 pm.
What if you don’t have any plants to exchange?
Come anyway. There are usually a few extra plants, and everyone is welcome to come to talk gardening and more.
Expand your collection of perennials, meet your neighbours, get tips and tricks for the garden. No ‘green thumb’ required.
See you on Saturday.
